Mexico vs Venezuela Match Preview
Mexico's win over Paraguay has them primed to face Venezuela this Tuesday.
Javier Hernandez scored a fantastic double against Paraguay while Andres Guardado struck another goal home en route to an easy 3-1 win victory against Paraguay. Christian Riveros scored in the 85th minute to avoid a clean sheet for Mexico goalkeeper Alfredo Talavera.
Meanwhile, Cesar Farias coached his Venezuela squad to a victory over Jamaica (2-0), with a fantastic performance from Yohandry Orozco who dished out two assists within two minutes in order to help his team to the victory at Montego Bay.
Now, both teams will meet in San Diego at Qualcomm Stadium for a showdown that will evoke memories of a game played just five months ago, as Mexico met Venezuela at the Estadio Azteca last October and drew to two goals with a Juan Arango double for Venezuela.
